The ultimate Club 100-miler made up from Geoff's favourite lanes and rides. Enjoy this leisurely paced ride that always stays fairly close to Ashwell. • Ashwell — Wells-next-the-Sea day ride
Book Friday off work for this gentle, end of summer epic. A full day of scenic riding through Norfolk via Ely, to the pretty coastal town of Wells-next-the-Sea for fish and chips. And then over to King's Lynn for a train back to Ashwell by the early evening. Long, Belgiumesque flat, canalside lanes and a few little bumps. 93+35 miles. Please note: this ride could be postponed if weather inclement.

Friday/Saturday/Sunday 16-18th September
• The CC Ashwell annual Tour of Belgium
2 night stay [Fri, Sat] in the town of Diksmuide, in the heart of Belgium cycling territory, back Sunday early evening. This great value trip is a real winner and something of a rites of passage for every CC Ashwell member. A great way to end the season and catch up with other members. Three rides in the three days will take in parts of routes from the Classics including the hills, long breezy plains, cobbles and historical sights and landmarks and fine Belgian cuisine and beer.
